The PT9 C-PROOF is a 30-day underwater locator beacon, which has been developed for installation on protective data capsules attached to voyage data recorder systems. The PT9 C-PROOF has been designed to send a locating signal for at least 30 days in case of being activated by water immersion.

The PT9 C-PROOF is the legacy beacon in the market for almost two decades.

The beacon consists of materials and coatings which have proved themselves in practice, having been exposed to the rough conditions on deck of a ship for years. It does not only have corrosion protected components as coatings and contact areas; but is also equipped with a patented, intelligent activation.

A new formulated coating topped the already excellent corrosion protection. Hence the PT9 C-PROOF withstands the extreme environmental conditions on sea even longer. Approved in long term testing and guaranteed by us.

RoHS and REACH compliant

The PT9 C-PROOF meets the conformity of Directive 1907/2006 EU, 2011/65/EU and 2015/863/EU of the European Parliament and of the Council on the restriction of the use of certain hazardous substances in electrical and electronic equipment.
